Daily assaults, harassment and murders which the
police are committing across the country on unarmed civilians are attributed to
the media, Special Investigations (Impunity) Unit and immunity of the justice
system to convict these delinquents for their crimes. Perpetrators of such abhorrent acts of violence resulting in serious
injuries or death continue to evade accountability because of the justice
system corruption. Also overwhelming evidence is showing that the police force
is responsible for the beatings and ill treatment of detainees inside the
police stations. The racist attitude and brutality of the Toronto police
show us; the oppression or the fear that someone could be extrajudicial
executed by the Toronto Gestapo police.
