Group of Lima, an unburied corpse

THE ARTICLE DOES NOT MENTION THE LEADER: CANADA AND ITS HORROR CRIMES IN CHILDHOOD

CANADA
Horrible crimes against children occurred and are occurring in Canada, they were and still are atrocities, but Canada, the so-called utopia, has NEVER publicly acknowledged the guilt of Canadian governments or even the consciousness of the horror of Residential Schools, The Duplessis Orphans , Holocaust of Children under the care of  Children's Aid Societies, Colored Children, Sixties Scoups, Immigrant Children in Government Housing ... nefarious criminals with the keys to prisons ...

Grupo de Lima, an unburied corpse

By José A. Amesty R: The Lima Group (GL), is a multilateral instance that was established after the so-called Declaration of Lima, on August 8, 2017 in Peru, where representatives of 14 countries met, with the objective of: to follow up and seek a peaceful solution to the crisis in Venezuela. Among other things, it demands the "release of political prisoners", calls for "free elections", offers humanitarian aid and criticizes the "rupture of the institutional order" in the South American country.

Twelve American countries originally signed the declaration: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay and Peru, later joining Guyana, Haiti, Saint Lucia and Bolivia.

Being also endorsed by Barbados, the United States, Grenada and Jamaica, who attended the meeting, as well as organizations such as the Organization of American States (OAS) and the European Union (EU), in addition to the Venezuelan opposition, have given their support to said document. In February 2019 he joined Venezuela, more precisely the interim government of Juan Guaidó. Recently, under the government of Jeanine Añez, Bolivia entered.

The Lima Group signed a Document in which it declares:

- His condemnation of the breakdown of the democratic order in Venezuela.
- Its decision not to recognize the National Constituent Assembly, or the acts that emanate from it, due to their illegitimate nature.
- Their full support and solidarity with the democratically elected National Assembly of Venezuela.
= Legal acts that, according to the Constitution, require authorization from the National Assembly, will only be recognized when said Assembly has approved them.
- His decision to continue the application of the Inter-American Democratic Charter (CDI) to Venezuela.
- Their commitment to monitor the situation in Venezuela, at the level of foreign ministers, until the full restoration of democracy in that country, among others.

The countries and their governments, more incisive against Venezuela, and that reaffirm their commitment to contribute to the "restoration of democracy" in Venezuela, and to overcoming the serious political, economic, social and humanitarian crisis that the South American country is experiencing are : Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Chile, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay and Peru; who promote the investigation, capture and punishment of officials and front men of Maduro's "illegitimate regime" involved in activities "supporting armed groups and terrorist organizations", as well as acts of corruption, "drug trafficking", crime.

Notwithstanding the above, the reality is that at this point the presidents and their governments that have been left out of the Lima Group are: Enrique Peña Nieto (Mexico), Mauricio Macri (Argentina), Jeanine Añez (Bolivia), Martín Vizcarra (Peru ) and Donald Trump as head of the gang. Remaining and in "pico e zopilote" Iván Duque (Colombia), Jair Bolsonaro (Brazil) and Sebastián Piñera (Chile), among others.

In reality, the LG, according to Carlos Aznarez, director of the Latin American Summary, “the Lima Group is more than devalued, it was formed precisely to destabilize Venezuela, as an agreement with the position that the Secretary General has always maintained in the OAS , Luis Almagro, who unfortunately have been re-elected ”.

The Lima Group was created by the US, because it failed to collect the necessary vote for its interventionist strategy in the Organization of American States (OAS). The political clumsiness and the servility of those who lead this group, has achieved the unusual feat of alienating the OAS, and now almost dissolving the same Group, by trying to embark the members in risky compromises.

And of course, it has failed in that destabilizing objective against Venezuela, Aznarez also points out: what they do is “repeat the script set by Mike Pompeo, the US official, in charge of being one of the most important battering rams against Venezuela. . As well as Trump's decision to accuse Venezuela of being a drug trafficker, to send ships, planes and transported troops, to carry out all paraphernalia to search for drug traffickers in the Caribbean, to cut off access to the cocaine that comes not from Venezuela but from Colombia ”.

Some data from the columnist Mario Hernandez points out “regarding the drug issue, official figures indicate that 84% of drugs from South America use the Pacific routes and only 7% pass through Venezuela and the eastern Caribbean . In addition, the UN Office Against Drugs and Crime published a report last year, where Venezuela does not appear on the list of countries that grow and manufacture, and Colombia does, which occupies the first place with 69% ”.

The Lima group is "an arch of right-wing governments that act like foolish children of the United States," emphasizes Aznarez.

On the other hand, Mario Hernández does an interview with economist Julio Gambina, who states: “The epicenter of the Lima Group is to change the Venezuelan government, to subordinate Venezuela to the logic of the oil transnationals, to US foreign policy and to that Right-wing logic that is expressing itself as a new hegemony in this year 2019, in Mercosur ”.

As indicated above, the GL has accused Venezuela of being involved in drug trafficking and acts of corruption, but the reality is that many of the countries of the Lima Group have been involved in these cases, let's see briefly, according to Tony López R. ., journalist, political scientist and international analyst:

Colombia:

1.- Colombia is the most important military operations base of the Southern Command in Latin America, established since 2007 in some ten Colombian military installations approved by President Álvaro Uribe, violating article 189 of the 1991 Constitution, an article also violated now by President Iván Duque. For its numeral 6 of the cited article establishes, "that it is the Senate, which can authorize military use against another State only if it is attacked, but not so that its territory is used to attack another country."
2- The Colombian rulers are not and have not been the most exemplary, for example we have the case of the current senator and former president Álvaro Uribe Vélez. «In September 1991, the classified confidential report of the DIA Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA. Defense Intelligence Agency) sent to the Department of Defense, this report marked Álvaro Uribe Vélez with number 82. Colombian politician and senator dedicated to collaborating with the Medellín cartel at high government levels. Uribe has been linked to drug-related businesses in the United States. This intelligence file can be consulted in the original in the following links at http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB131/index.htm).

Mexico:

1.- The government of President Peña Nieto during his term was one of the most demanding defenders of violating the Rule of International Law in the so-called Lima Group and in the OAS, its foreign minister suffered a great defeat when it took place in Cancun, Mexico the meeting of the Permanent Council of the OAS and in alliance with the United States and Luis Almagro tried to force a sanction on Venezuela and apply the Democratic Charter.
2.- What an example of respect for human rights there was during his government in Mexico, when the daily murders numbered in the hundreds, when thousands of Mexicans were extorted by the drug cartels, especially the Sinaloa cartels, and now it is known and it is public that officials of his government and President Peña Nieto himself received millions of dollars from Chapo Guzmán for bribery. What democracy could such an important country speak of, rich given over to Washington's gold and having so much citizen insecurity and with so much inequality and misery.

Chile:

1.- Chile, a country in which the most horrific pages of crimes and political assassinations against the people have been written by the Pinochet dictatorship. The heroic president Salvador Allende was the first victim of the United States when he raised the flag of socialism in democracy, as Venezuela today raises its Democratic and Socialist Bolivarian Revolution, but Chile continues under the Pinochet Constitution, because really those who continue to lead the country are strong defenders and they belonged to the narrowest environment of the Chilean dictator, like Sebastián Piñera.
2.- The weekly El Siglo denounced the closeness and intimate environment to Pinochet of Sebastián Piñera and his family, who made his fortune under the heat of the dictatorship and linked him to criminal actions such as “money laundering, constitution of fictitious companies, bribery and illicit association ”with respect to the Talca bank.

Honduras:

1.- What examples of democracy, respect for human rights and honesty can the government of Honduras present? Where are the intellectual authors of the murder of Bertha Cáceres and other social leaders murdered during the fraudulent government of Orlando Hernández? What policy is there for human rights and care for her people, when thousands and thousands of Hondurans flee to Mexico to cross the border to the United States and that Donald Trump so repudiates?
2.- A government established by electoral fraud known and denounced by the OAS observers themselves, who were in the Honduran elections. This government is at heart a government that emerged from a Military Coup against Manuel Zelaya supported by the United States in 2009.
And what about the current president Juan Orlando Hernández, accused of multiple cases of corruption and drug trafficking, among others.

Guatemala:

1.- And what about Guatemala, another government whose human rights violations are denounced, even by international organizations, as well as its president Jimmy Morales (2015) found himself questioned for acts of corruption. If a government in Latin America cannot speak of respect for human rights, it is Guatemala, much less democracy.

Brazil:

1.- Brazil, a giant and rich country whose only rival and sneaky enemy in the Western Hemisphere is the United States, has bowed to Washington's orders, it is logical that the de facto government such as that of Michael Temer and that of Captain President Jair Bolsonaro have yielded and handed over to the orders of the United States, in both cases two corrupt governments and violators of human rights, the case of the action against Lula, is a demonstration of the human insensitivity of this government and in the field of Corruption has the clearest example in the man who lent himself to judge Dilma Rousseff, when he was president of Congress, Eduardo Cunha, who is imprisoned for being corrupt, his last mission against his country and to favor the United States was to facilitate the removal of President Rousseff.
2.- Brazilian democrats, progressives and revolutionaries must be scared by the path taken by these last two governments, because they have put themselves at the service of Washington, a country that even undertook the political-military Plan called Andean Regional Initiative, whose objective strategic is to eliminate the scientific-technical and economic competition of Brazil in our region.

Argentina:

1.- Argentina is another of the countries that are part of the Lima Group, the participation of the president in corruption actions is publicly denounced in the Panama Papers, human rights violations are permanently denounced for violence against women, The use of justice totally delivered to the Argentine oligarchy, is appreciated with the imprisonment of popular leaders such as Fernando Esteche, who without any proof has already been in prison for more than a year, another faithful exponent is Milagro Salas who served two years in prison without tests and trials.
2.- The use and abuse of the opposition press media is the daily bread, Argentines should not forget that an operative group, reissuing the times of the Videla dictatorship, violently broke into the offices of lawyers and rights defenders human beings, destroyed computers, files and stole laptops and documentation that compromised Macri and his government, a serious violation of the rule of law that the Macrista foreign minister cackles so much in the Lima Group against Venezuela, the sinister group made it clear that the one who oppose the government's actions will be repressed. Neither the Clarín group nor the Nation say anything about these events. They are accomplices of a dictatorship without uniform, as they were in the 70s.

Paraguay:

1.- Paraguay is another member of the Lima Group and a strong exponent where human rights are systematically violated and whose democratic system was absolutely broken when it was produced by the parliamentary coup against Fernando Lugo (2008), all mounted by a criminal action against a group of peasants, carried out by the public force for the purpose of using it as it is known to justify a coup by the stronista extreme right, as has been publicly denounced by the Paraguayan democratic and progressive sectors. The subordination of the empire's puppet government has acted opportunistically at the request of Washington, breaking relations with Venezuela. Clearer, neither the water.

Peru:

1.- Peru is not indifferent to cases of corruption and violation of human rights, nothing very different from the scandals of the Fujimori family and their relations with sectors of Congress and the judiciary, have led to the request for resignation of magistrates and judges. But also former presidents Alan García, Alejandro Toledo, Ollanta Humala and Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, who are joined by other important leaders and congressmen including Keiko Fujimori, Susana Villarán, Nadine Heredia, all linked to the bribes of the Brazilian Odelbrech.
2.- Currently the scandal of President Martin Vizcarra, dismissed for corruption, is known, which has generated a popular rebellion. The Peruvian Congress championed Manuel Merino as president, who, faced with a bloody persecution against the people, resigned. Currently, the Peruvian Congress has appointed Francisco Sagasti as interim president and we are still in full swing.

According to Aram Aharonian, a Uruguayan journalist and communication scientist, the last pearl of the GL is that the decimated Lima Group also wants to appropriate Venezuelan funds. The US government demanded that the countries of the so-called Lima Group join in the pirating of Venezuelan funds abroad. US Vice President Mike Pence called on Latin American countries to freeze Venezuela's oil assets.

Colombian President Iván Duque spoke of the need "That the assets that Venezuela has in our countries, which are governmental, are already declared under the absolute control of the National Assembly and President Guaidó so that they establish administration mechanisms."

In short, according to Tony López, “as readers can appreciate, the Lima Group does not have any morals to judge any country, less Venezuela, which can give lessons in democracy, nor does any very honest Head of State appear, all linked to acts of corruption and some ordering assassinations, linked to drug trafficking and the repression against their people ”.

As the title of the article indicates, and having seen the above, the Lima Group should already be forgotten in the darkest grave of oblivion and history.
