Santos, Nobel Peace: Affront to victims of false positives

Santos finally got what he craved: the Nobel Peace Prize. His unpopularity in Colombia, however, prevent him from the moment that distinction. For now, come to share the pantheon of famous people to the international community (which, no doubt, wants more Colombians). It becomes the second Colombian to win a Nobel after Garcia Marquez, the other well deserved.

It joins other characters honored by the Nobel Academy for their supposed services to world peace. Including US presidents Theodore Roosevelt (yes, the same who snatched Panama to Colombia and opened the "gunboat diplomacy"), Barack Obama (the same one that has strengthened nuclear programs, which has actively been behind the war in Syria and Libya, which has increased troop strength in Afghanistan and that, being the first black president, presided over the administration which has reported more violence against blacks in recent decades). Not to forget the eminent American diplomat Henry Kissinger, one of the ideologues of the extermination policy in Vietnam. Thus, Santos adds to these Nobel Peace whose bloods are well stained with blood.

One thing is to recognize that Santos-from selfish perspective and the professional interests of the oligarchic sector represents, interested in deepening investment in territories- opened the negotiating table with the FARC-EP. But the worst crime of which he was directly responsible was the cowardly and evil murder of thousands of young Colombians in the scandal of so-called "false positives". While the media highlighted Timoshenko's speech in Cartagena only when he apologized, Santos feels no need to apologize to anyone, even to the victims of this crime against humanity of which he was directly responsible. Here there is no such bilateralism and all institutions are looking to reinforce that image that the insurgency has been militarily defeated (hence the scare with Kfir and bombastic statements generals), politically (exclusive is blamed and mistakenly vote NO as one vote only rejection of the FARC-EP) and morale (it is they who have to apologize, no one else). The Nobel Peace Prize just finished squaring the circle, as they say. This is the triumph of Santos, Santos peace, who managed to pacify one of the "world's bloodiest guerrilla", as called Semana magazine [1].

Santos said that this victory is for all victims, of whom speak in neutral, as if he had nothing to do with it. I recommend Santos have an act of humility in your life, you go to Soacha visit those mothers that he has rejected and his bodyguards were kicked out of their actions, and ask forgiveness through them, to all victims of false positives. Women who visit the likes of Alfamir Castillo, whose son was killed in a false positive and it has been displaced and exiled not once but several times, demanding justice. And the momentum as they are screwing both the FARC-EP to declare their assets to compensate the victims, ensure that the 850.000 euros that just handed the prize, delivered to compensate the victims of false positive. They, unlike Santos belonging to one of the families of the most rancid aristocracy, if needed. It is that the Colombian oligarchy is miserly even for that: the money for the victims they drew taxpayers. That is, the poor themselves.

What insult is this Nobel for victims in Colombia, particularly for false positives, and for thousands who risked their lives to demand a negotiated solution to the conflict when Santos was repeating the mantras of democratic security. Again it is clear that the popularity of Santos is inversely proportional abroad and in Colombia.
