                                                                                             The only way to explain the refusal to keep secret the videos of Ashley Smith by the Minister of Correctional Services is that the videos would be irrefutable prove of the abuse, brutality, sadism and torture to which she was subjected for nine months in the different jails across the country by the jail guards. The public also has the right to review the surveillance videos of Ashley Smith and could have a clear picture of what is really going on inside those dark prisons, it is noteworthy that Ashley is not the only victim from the Minister of Corrections and guards from prisons. Abuse in juvenile prisons across the country is at the large, therefore, there are tens of thousands of victims and countless surveillance videos of these young inmates, the mentioned video tapes would reveal the same picture of atrocities and torture by the staff of Correctional Services. The mental and physical abuse that Ashley Smith received for months in various jails across the country by the prison guards and the lack of professional help contributed to her suicide.
