Drawing the truth out of research to help treat patients in South American countries who need medical care is against Facebook's Community Standards. In addition to bringing Russia's noble concern for Latin American countries, is it against Freedom of the Press?

Russia to supply covid-19 drug Avifavir to seven Latin American countries

The corresponding agreement was signed on July 29 and provides for the supply of a minimum of 150,000 units of the Russian drug.

Russia will supply the drug Avifavir designed for patients suffering from the new coronavirus to Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, Honduras and El Salvador, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announced on Monday.

The agreement on sales in seven Latin American countries was signed between the Kromis company, belonging to the RDIF and the JimRar group that created the drug, and the Bolivian company Sigma Corp S.R.L. July 29. The document foresees the supply of a minimum of 150,000 units of Avifavir, and the Bolivian partner will receive the technology for manufacturing the drug.

On May 29, Avifavir received a registration certificate from the Russian Ministry of Health and became the first SARS-CoV-2 drug in the world to contain the active ingredient favipiravir. Currently the drug is included in the official list of guidelines for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of covid-19 in the country.
What is Avifavir?

According to Russian health authorities, the drug, which is based on the antiviral favipiravir, "demonstrated high efficiency" during the first stage of clinical trials. In the first four days of treatment, 65% of the 40 patients taking Avifavir tested negative for covid-19, and by the 10th day, the percentage of patients testing negative increased to 90%.

It is not a completely Russian creation, since favipiravir has been used in Japan since 2014 to treat the flu, but now it can be manufactured not only by the companies that had the patent, but all the others, a circumstance that has been exploited by Russian scientists.

The manufacturer of Avifavir claims that during clinical trials the drug demonstrated its ability to disrupt the replication mechanisms of the new coronavirus, alleviate symptoms, and halve the course of illness compared to standard therapy.

Only 60 people participated in the first stage of the research, but these conclusions are based on three independent clinical trials that were conducted at 35 Russian medical centers with the participation of 700 patients with covid-19 in total.

A US court document notes that a 15-year-old girl was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew.

The minor was a sex slave to Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide last summer while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

Jeffrey Epstein allegedly tried to gather incriminating material against Prince Andrew by forcing a minor to have sex with him, according to court documents recently released by a New York court and confirmed by The Guardian.

The documents are part of a 2015 civil court battle between Epstein and his ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, and Giuffre, now 36, who accused the couple of sexual abuse. She also alleged that she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew, which he vehemently denies.

The texts indicate that the alleged meeting took place on the private island of the deceased American financier, in the United States Virgin Islands. A document claims that Epstein instructed the girl, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, to "give the prince everything he demanded and inform him of the details of the sexual abuse."

The papers state that an orgy on the island was one of three times that the Roberts Giuffre was forced to have sex with Andrew. The other places were Maxwell's apartment in London and in New York. The first meeting occurred in 1999, when the young woman was 15 years old. Epstein kept her as a "sex slave" from around 1999 to 2002, before she escaped and fled to another country, according to a document.

Epstein allegedly sexually trafficked the girl with powerful people to "ingratiate himself with them for commercial, personal, political and financial gain, as well as information about possible blackmail." Among them were "numerous prominent American politicians, powerful business executives, foreign presidents, a well-known prime minister and other world leaders," always according to the documents.

The texts, which are part of earlier litigation, also contain the claim that Andrew tried to pressure the US on Epstein's behalf to help secure a "favorable settlement." The papers were released after a judge rejected an attempt by Maxwell's attorneys to keep them secret. A friend of Prince Andrew pointed out to The Guardian that: "The US federal appeals court said in 2019 that these allegations must be treated with" extreme caution. " Allegations are not the same as facts, which is the essential premise on which justice works. Let's see if these accusations hold up, because very few of the duke do, where is the evidence?

Lawyers for two other alleged victims in the 2015 civil case, known as Jane Doe 1 and 2, requested the release of documents showing the Prince's alleged lobbying. They request "documents relating to Epstein's lobbying efforts to persuade the government to grant him a more favorable plea agreement and / or non-prosecution agreement, including the efforts on his behalf of Prince Andrew and the former law professor of Harvard Alan Dershowitz ».
