The Capitalist Pyramid
Accumulated debts
The day will come when the bill will be charged for our indifference. Accumulated debts
by Carolina Vásquez Araya: We inhabit a world full of intrigues and fantasies. A world in which we have been taught that solidarity, equal rights and political participation are not the ways to obtain the well-being and stability that we pursue. On the contrary, we have been programmed from a very young age to follow the routes traced by others, whose interests - contrary to ours - take us away from the core of the decisions that affect society. Thus, like a well-trained herd, we enter unopposed into a deformed and deforming capitalist system whose social, economic and political effects are diametrically opposed to the possibilities of achieving development. And we do so convinced that we are on the right side.
The extreme concentration of wealth in our countries bears a unique sign: corruption. That is, the imposition of a form of political and economic activity whose characteristic is the lack of moral and human values, as an instrument in favor of the marginalization of peoples in decision-making processes, the impoverishment of the working class and the exclusion of women and youth from political scenes. This has guaranteed the consolidation of government systems increasingly at odds with democratic values, dangerously oriented to achieve absolute power.
The desire to seek answers to the need to strengthen our States and seek the paths of progress - characterized by an important dynamic initiated by intellectuals, ideologues and economists during the decades of the 50s and 60s of the last century - ended up consumed by force. of a Cold War of incredible media, psychological and political resources, through which a system of exploitation of our natural heritage was established and the imposition of a third world ideology. From there, all attempts at industrialization and technological development in our countries began to be hindered, with the purpose of keeping them under a dependency regime that today is manifested in the lowest socioeconomic indicators, as well as in an overwhelming decline in broad sectors of the economy. society in extreme poverty.
In this dynamic, voices have been lost; The television monopolies, the transformation of the mass media into reproducers of the official discourse and the nuclei of economic power have deprived societies of one of the fundamental bases of democracy, which is full freedom of expression and the right to information without restrictions. Legal frameworks have been drifting towards the protection of these privilege systems to end up legalizing an illegitimate game of political recycling.
While that happens, we keep quiet. In an attitude close to meekness, we remain paralyzed watching this free fall into the abysses of the dictatorship, waiting for others to react and save us from the catastrophe. Thanks to the speech of the winners, we have ended up convinced that there is only a peaceful way to recover what little remains of the institutionality and we are not even lucid enough to understand that this institutionality has been the first to declare armed war with repression, invasion. of territories, looting and physical elimination of entire communities and the few leaders that could guide us towards a rebirth of democracy.
Sooner rather than later, we will regret for not having reacted on time, for having allowed the consolidation of governments and economic and political leaderships opposed to the integral development of our countries and the well-being of our peoples; and, above all, for allowing them to legislate against us despite representing, in theory, the superior interests of the people. Today's indifference is a generous endorsement for our enemies.
We are in free fall, without a protection net or awareness of the fact
RNE blames us all for global warming
Global warming directly affects the death rate
RNE blames us all for global warming
By Antonio Campuzano Ruiz: In this world, from which Democracy had to go into exile a long time ago, because the very rich made life impossible for it; a few make the decisions and most of us only have the option of complying with them or not (at the price they impose on us). Sharing the blame for the plundering of the planet among everyone, is neither fair nor true.
Global Warming reappears in the media, because the G-20 has met, which is a group made up of the US President and his foremen. The USA is one of the countries that pollutes the most, along with China and India. The previous agreement for the conservation of the environment was made in Paris and President Trump did not sign it.
Now Biden visits the Pope (to confess? Only the Pontiff forgives the greatest sins), and calls this summit without India and China that are fundamental (they pollute a lot and are economic powers), to feel like emperor, impose their conditions and Outsmart your competitors.
Today, in the 8 o'clock disinformation, RNE instead of explaining these things, lies pontificating that we are all guilty of Climate Change. The summary of the disinformation at 2pm, chose a phrase by Boris Johnson (Trump 2.0) that blamed "humanity." This discourse that forgets to mention large industries, fossil fuel monopolies and obstacles to using renewable energy, for example, leaves the real culprits out of focus - what is called creating "media reality" (manipulation) - and It may be understandable in the private media controlled by the banks, but it is painful in the public media that we all pay for.
