The true root of the causes that have caused this chaotic situation of world health, are not the pandemic or all its variants. Neither is the greater or lesser effectiveness of vaccines, which have had to be developed in such a short time.
The direct responsible for the pandemic is the capitalist economic model, which destroys Mother Nature and causes disease by breaking the balance of our environment. All to obtain economic benefits in the hands of a few, while poverty and social inequality grows at a global level.
The exaggerated consumer society, which promotes this system among the more developed nations, also joins this complex scenario. The reality we face is that, although the commercial and traditional media take a long view.
That is the underlying issue to be analyzed and discussed publicly, as the UN and Pope Francis have repeatedly expressed, among many others. Otherwise, we will be facing many other pandemics and more natural disasters, which will bring countless misfortunes to all of humanity. "There is no worse deaf than the one who does not want to hear."
In truth, the greedy and insatiable big capital and its neoliberal version of privatization of public services have no soul. Therefore, if we do not straighten the course to protect nature, consume less and share the wealth, we are on our way to catastrophe. This has been confirmed by the most prestigious scientific entities.

It has been affirmed by the most credible experts from the natural sciences with insistence since 1992, at a UN Conference on "Environment and Development" in Rio de Janeiro. The serious planetary climate crisis is the expression of Mother Nature herself, seeking to heal her in the face of so much mistreatment by big capital.
Beyond the discussion about the origin of COVID, skillfully managed to provoke panic and fear in the world population, are the great interests of the powerful pharmaceutical companies. Let's dare to honestly answer these simple questions, to arrive at concrete answers, beyond conspiracy theories.
Who are the economic sectors worldwide that have benefited the most from COVID and its variants? Hasn't this been one of the most lucrative businesses for the entire capitalist mega healthcare industry in recent decades?
Do you know how much the profits of these pharmaceutical companies and their derivative products are estimated at, since COVID began? Why is this juicy business of the commodification of health as a product of the pandemic not investigated in depth?
What is the reason why Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson oppose facilitating vaccine patents to the poorest countries? Isn't this a crime against humanity, given the terrible health reality, especially in the African continent, Latin America and South Asia? Or is it that business for these companies is more important than the lives of the poorest people?
Conservative economic estimates place the recent flow obtained from the sale of COVID vaccines at more than 62 billion dollars during 2021 alone. These surpass the astronomical sale of drugs for several historical diseases such as diabetes and it is only surpassed by cancer.
Until when will we be focused on the effects of the pandemic, without pointing to the true roots of the problem? Savage capitalism, the destruction of mother earth and the commodification of health.
